Burton Salmon School is the perfect village school, looking out over wheat and barley fields, sitting in its own grounds, with fruit trees and its own conker tree. Since these photos were taken we have had some fantastic playground equipment installed.
Above all the classrooms have the space to let childrens minds breathe, and to allow activities that stretch the children both physically and mentally.
Surrounding the buildings are hard and soft play areas, the playing fields, and larger play areas with modern playground equipment.
It doesn't snow every year at Burton Salmon, so when it does we go out and make the most of it.
We are making 'angels' in the snow, rolling snowballs, and then we all go inside for one of Mrs Jones's fantastic dinners!
Here is class 2 at work. Whether we work with computers or pencils and paper, we love to learn!
We are very lucky at Burton Salmon to have lots of space around the school, with grass, waterproof surfaces and covered areas, so we can play outside in almost any weather. This really helps us concentrate when we get back inside.
